Hello everyone
As I new member to this forum, I thought that I should introduce myself. I am a mature third year student at Salford University completing a BA in Contemporary Military and International History. In the new year I will be conducting research into the 1st and 2nd battalions of the Manchester Regiment during the campaign in the far east 1941-1945. I am particularly interested in the fall of Singapore, the Chindit expeditions and the Battle Of Kohima.
Best wishes
David McCormack

Hi David and a Warm Welcome to our Forum !

I'm sure your research will be valuable to us, so hope you stick around  ;D  What made you choose the 1 & 2nd Manchesters and The Far East over other areas ?
