Am doing the family tree and find Henry Owen Manchesters 8th batt I think.
Can anyone add to this? Thanks Barney.

Wendi

Probably not Barney as their records are not available to the general public.  You really need to be a next of kin or have their permission to find out anything more, for the foreseeable  ;)

Thanks for your reply, was beginning to think I had BO. Do you have any idea when the records will be available? His mother and my grandma were sisters. With rellies all over the world it would be a major exercise to trace the NOK.
Thanks mate.

Wendi

I don't think the records will be available for the foreseeable, but you'd only have to find one rellie, and get their permission, not the whole lot  ;D

Thanks Wendy
Had the same problem trying to get the records of an uncle Chris HOATH who was a regular in the LF's, I was told to get permission of the eldest surviving sibling of his siblins who are all dead now. I have found a second cousin who was a neice of Henry Owen. She said he was in Malta with the 8th Ardwick's.
Cheers for now, Barney.
