« on: November 11, 2009, 10:38:56 AM »
i have a lance Coprporal William Kennedy army no 10891 18th batt manchester Reg died in action 13th may 1916 from the WGC buried at Suzanne. On a CD about the Man Reg I have found his number to be 10961,, but I cannot Identify him in the Company photos. Can I be sure the right man is in the right grave? Also reading the history on your sight of the 18th reg there is no record of any action till a later date, but a couple of days earlier they report the collapse of a mine in which several men were killed. This man was my grandma's first husband and she had a child by him. where can I find out wether he got any medals etc and if there is a photo of his grave or his name on any memorials. a lot to ask of you all but any snippet will do Thanks Lindyloo
