Hi,

I've posted on ww1 about my great grandfather George Henry Morgan supposed sergeant in the Manchesters. I would like to see if his name pops up in the reg before this time. He was born on the 19/03/1883.

Also I would like to know if a George or William Croft was a member and died in CHINA or the FAR EAST! Why would he have been serving there in the early century. What conflicts were we in in the first 20 years of it?

Kind regards,
Simon

Hi Simon !

The Overseas Death Index is not on Ancestry.

Both  http://www.familyrelatives.com/
or
http://www.findmypast.com/home.jsp have it, but I think they might be pay to view  :-\
