Private Cuthbert Hamilton Dennick 5182 Manchester Regt. (446311 Labour Corps). Attested with KLR on 01/04/1915; transferred to Manchesters on 13/02/1916; transferred to Labour Coprs on 30/11/1917. Served in Egypt 17/03/1916 to 16/01/1917, and in France 17/04/1917 to 27/12/1918. Transferred to Class Z Reserve on 11/02/1919. Disabilities were neurasthenia, VDH and rheumatism due to service. Born at Liverpool on 01/07/1882, he married Annie Edith Fenimore (nee Williams) at St Matthias Liverpool on 03/05/1914. Died on 18/09/1919, cause not known, age 37, and buried at Toxteth Park Cemetery, plot CE.2.268 (unmarked grave).

If the DC says Heart Disease do you think this would be worth putting forward on the evidence.

Yes, or if the DC says neurasthenia (or shell shock). The fact that he wasn't discharged due to illness may go against him though. These cases are definitely being judged more harshly these days so it's hard to predict an outcome. But I still think it's worth trying.

I think its best to Hold this case while CWGC are taking such a stringent approach to military evidence

Cause of death on DC is ruptured duodenal ulcer & general peritonitis, so I don't think there's any way forward for this case.
