Pte William Thomas Price 5511 Manchester Regiment (13th Bn), enlisted on 12/09/1914, discharged on 31/10/1914, "not likely to become efficient". Award sheet notes that he was invalided for defective vision. Re-called up for service on 22/10/1917 as R/369359 Army Service Corps with the Ormskirk Remounts, discharged on 29/11/1917 with pulmonary tuberculosis due to exposure and infection on ordinary military service, also said to have originated on 10/10/1914 at Seaford, Sussex, during his first period of service with the Manchesters. Married to Mary Duffy at Wigan on 02/06/1906, he was a salt hawker who lived at 2 Ironmonger Lane, Queen Street, Wigan. Died on 15/04/1918 from pulmonary tb and tuberculous meningitis, age 32, and buried at Wigan Cemetery, plot CE.M.120.

Yes. Terry thought the evidence was insufficient and contradictory, I don't think I saw it that way so I put him forward anyway back in March.
