Pte John Charles Christian, 30727 Manchester Regiment & 27122 Northumberland Fusiliers. Victory and British medals awarded, discharged on 27/05/1919 (Class Z). Died on 09/02/1920 from unknown causes. No address or NOK on pension cards, but apparently buried at Toxteth Park Cemetery, plot NC.3.25, on 13/02/1920. Burial register states that he was age 30, of 24 Blythswood Street, Aigburth. The grave has a headstone but John is not named, the following inscription is recorded:

In loving memory of / Katie, / the beloved wife of Henry CHRISTIAN / who fell asleep April 20th 1906, / aged 49 years. / "I heard thy welcome voice, / that called me Lord to thee." / "For ever with the Lord." / Also their daughter / Leah May CHRISTIAN, / died 10th June 1928, aged 33 years. / Mother of Cecilia May CHRISTIAN.
