No service record, medical record on FMP shows that he was hospitalised in 1917 with VDG (Venereal Disease Gonorrhea?). Died on 19/04/1920, cause of death was chronic nephritis and cardiac failure. Widow was Rebecca Murphy, of 15 Holt Street, Woodhouse Lane, Wigan. Buried at Wigan Cemetery, plot RC.H.905 (an unmarked grave).
