Pte Peter Connor (or named Counas on several pension cards), 9466 Manchester Regiment, enlisted on 15/09/1903, transferred to 615616 Labour Corps 16/08/1918. Served in France from 05/12/1914 - 11/02/1915 and 26/06/1915 - 11/02/1919. Transfered to Class Z reserves on demobilisation 13/03/1919. Claimed disabilities were rheumatiam from exposure and life in trenches, commencing Feb 1916, and effects of ague from Jan 1915. Myalgia attrib. 30% disablement. Born in St Helens 1967? Formerly a lead worker, of 37 Pocket Nook Street, St Helens. His only named relative was an uncle, William Connor of 46 Pocket Nook Street, St Helens. Died on 25/07/1919 from disease (myalgia?) and buried at St Helens Cemetery, plot 32.271.
