Pte 40742 Ernest Drinkwater 22nd & 11th Bn

Ernest Drinkwater originally served with 2/7th Cheshires ‘4831’ prior 22nd and then 11th Bn Manchester Regiment. He completed his service with 9th Loyals ‘29270’ and received a pension from 25/02/1920.  He died on 11/06/1920, aged 31. Ernest was buried in Southern Cem H.1365.  The son of Jane Drinkwater of 14 Brook Avenue, Levenshulme.
