Pte 29300 Arthur Daniels.
The WFA Card shows Arthur originally trained with the Manchesters. The number suggests he enlisted in June 1916 and trained with 26th Bn. He was transferred to the Leicestershire Regiment '33306', serving as Pte with 6th and 1/5th Bn, with which he was awarded a Military Medal. Arthur was discharged with a pension for a fractured ankle and gassing.
Arthur Daniels died from unknown cause on 13/08/1921, aged 34.  He is buried at Failsworth Cemetery JG. Arthur was the husband of Leah Daniels of 11 Caisson St, Failsworth. No Widow's pension was admitted. Probably the son of Joseph & Sarah Ann Daniels of Denton, born 07/08/1886.
