Hello, I am an Aussie who is trying to locate a photo of a soldier who served and died in WW1.

His name is Stephen Lamont from the 2nd Battalion /Manchester Regiment /Service Number 59869.  He was born in Ellesmere Cheshire, enlisted in Swansea.  His residence was Sketty,  West Glamorgan.

This soldier unluckily was killed on the 4th November 1918 and is buried in France/Belgium.

Hoping someone is able to help - even if it is a group photo

Welcome Flamingo
Someone will be along to help if possible. In the mean time this is the link to him on the CWGC Find War dead site plus a photo from the CWGC site of the Cemetery (ORS COMMUNAL CEMETERY France):

Hi Flamingo,
Here's a grave photo https://livesofthefirstworldwar.iwm.org.uk/lifestory/2300423
He has significant illustrious company at Ors. If you review the record of Wilfred Owen's death you will learn more about 2nd Bn events. It's a special place to visit & I can send photos if you PM your email. I'll check other records later.
Welcome
Tim
