2616 Pte. George Henry MARSDEN

I am wondering if anyone can fill in some blanks on this Oldham man.

Ex 6th VB (Sgt 2573), served in the Boer War with the 23rd IY and served in the Manchesters in WW1 (2626 Pte. ) Battalion unknown but entered France 11.12.1914, so presumably 1st or 2nd Bn.

Entitled to 1914/5 Trio (H/1/47B-59 and H/1/104B13-2870)

Discharged, date unknown and entitled to a  SWB (List H/456)

Any info on Bn. and reson and date of discharge appreciated.

He was in the 2nd Bn, Discharge date 2/7/16
