Pte William Edmund Farebrother, enlisted 11/01/1915 16th Service Bn. Manchester Regiment, later transferred 39225 Lincolnshire Regiment and 31362 Labour Corps. Discharged 14/03/1919, rheumatism attributable to service 20%. Died on 24/04/1921 gastric ulcer, disease contracted after discharge. Married to Sarah Jane Gray at All Saints Church, Chorlton-on-Medlock, 16/01/1907. Lived at 27 Primrose Avenue, Davyhulme.
