Good Evening,

I came across this forum a few months ago when researching Pte Clarkson, who is a 2x Great Uncle of mine. I was hoping to find some more information surrounding his death at the Battle of the Selle and so I arranged to have a copy made by the national archives of one of the maps contained in WO153/222, as there seemed to be certain places mentioned in the war diary for his unit - such as "Marou" - that I was struggling to locate; the only records being from sources referring to the battle. Rather than compressing the file I have included the link to download the map in the hope that it may be of some use to anyone showing an interest: https://drive.google.com/file/d/13rU_EXZ-D1ZTeogeLKpsRdyHSXxs_pqr/view?usp=sharing
It is unlikely it will preview and make take a few minutes to download.

The OP mentions the existence of his medals, death plaque etc I would love to be able to locate it and get a photograph or something of that nature of the collection

Hopefully the map is of some interest, as it was a long (delayed) train journey and a several month wait for the image.

Many Thanks
Callum
