Ralph Phillips was probably a Derby Scheme recruit he attested on 11/12/1915.  Apparently serving at home, Ralph was discharged unfit with a SWB on 07/05/1919. He received a pension for debility and Anaemia.
Ralph died from chronic nephritis on 01/11/1920, aged 39.  The husband of Elizabeth Ann Phillips of 107 Dean Street, Ashton.
