John Denton had been a rubber worker when he enlisted in 6th Bn on 11/12/1915.  He was transferred to 254 Dic Emp Coy, Labour Corps '224720'
John was discharged on 11/01/1919. He received a pension for constitutional General Weakness aggravated by service.  John was admitted to Baguley Sanatorium by 21/12/1920. 
John died from Pulmonary TB on 07/05/1921 and buried in Phillips Park, consecrated plot  H.132.  The husband Emma Power of 16 Power Street, Ardwick.
