Pte 22267 James Lingard – 23rd Bn
James Lingard enlisted in the 23rd Bantams Bn on 26/11/1914 and trained with XII Pln.  He was discharged on 30/08/1916 with a disability pension for unknown condition.
James died from pulmonary TB on 14/05/1921, aged 39. The death was registered in Bucklow, indicating James probably died in Baguley Sanatorium.  The husband of Ellen Lingard of 86 North Kent Street, Collyhurst.  James was buried in plot F.58 at Philips Park. Lamp lighter.
