Effects shows Albert Wade died in the Military Isolation Hosp, Canarvon 16/08/1921.  No War Gratuity. His sister, Mary, was NoK.  I can't identify any other records.

Buried at Southern Cemetery U/1178 Consecrated. Looks like the family were living at 41 Crondall Street, Moss Side in 1911. His father appears to be L/Cpl Tom Wade 344 1/8 Manchester Regiment, but Fold3 is playing up at the moment so I can't view the pension card. If correct, Albert's date of birth was 27/12/1901.

The SER record appears to say "Isol[ation] H[ospital], Carnarvon".

would a DC have the info you need to be sure he was actually serving and hes the same albert wade,i dont have a clue what info these DCs hold, but it does look like him

if it is him and he was serving, then he would qualify,no matter what he died of

Thanks to Paul & Mack,
DCs show occupation and for discharged men often refer to Ex 10th Manchester Regiment etc. You can see transcripts on many of the Application posts.  I've had similar possible in-service case where the DC may say Private Manchester Regiment but IFCP have advised that corroborating evidence to show a man was still serving.  It would also need to be proven that a man was embodied if they were in the Territorials.
