Joseph Stevens served overseas with 21st Bn Middx Regiment 11198, after 1915. He was transferred to 6th Bn '42684' (probably 1916) and later posted to the Suffolk Regiment '65281'. The WFA Card also indicates service with the Leicesters, RE, IWVD? And 1/RG Suffolk.
Joseph died from disease on 20/04/1921, aged 39. Resident 6 St Lukes Court, Newhaven, Sussex. Son of William and Mary Stevens. Pension refused.
