Pte 44707 Herbert (John Reed) Trace – 19th Bn
Herbert Trace probably enlisted under the Derby Scheme on 10/12/1915.  He initially served overseas with 1/10th (County of London) Battalion (Hackney) – Royal Fusiliers '27875'.  Estimated to have transferred to 19th Bn in 1916, Herbert was discharged on 31/10/1918.  He died on 07/05/1921, aged 33 and is buried in Islington Cemetery, East Finchley.
The son of John William & Louisa Trace of 45 Mount Pleasant Road, Crouch Hill, N8. A builders labourer in 1911.
