Pte 15086 Harry Brown - 24th Bn.

Harry Brown had been a Jobber . Boardroom Overlooker when he enlisted in the 24th (Oldham) Bn on 21/01/1915.  He was discharged inefficient from D Coy at Chadderton Camp on 19/02/1915 and lived at 22 Crowley, Watersheddings, Oldham. Harry had pulmonary TB. He received a pension although there is no note on causation.  Harry died on 09/09/1918, aged 37. Cause not known.
The son of Mary Ann Brown of 19 Beresford Street, Oldham. His sister Maria Warburton received a pension at this address.
