William Butterworth enlisted on 18/06/1915 and served at home with 8th Bn until discharge on 27/07/1915 due to medical grounds.   William died on 05/04/1918, aged 40. He had chronic nephrites and cardiac hypertrophy.  No note of causation on WFA cards.
The husband of Annie Butterworth of 64 Agnew Road, Park Avenue, Gorton. Two children.
Following one Platoon and everything around them....
