Thanks for accepting me to the forum
I'm researching my great great uncle Joseph harrop 15764 who served in the 11th battalion Manchester regt
At gallipoli any info or photos would be great 👍

enlisted 7-12-1914
aged 19
farm worker for mr herbert jackson dairy farmer,ivy farm,chorlton cum hardy
11th manchesters.C.coy
slightly wounded both legs on 7-10-1915
invalided to hospital 7-12-1915
sent home 29-12-1916
posted to 3rd manchesters 3-3-1917
discharged as physically unfit 10-8-1917 with valvular heart disease caused by exposure in the trenches at gallipoli

1918
lived with friends at 16 eldon st,chorlton on medlock
his brother alfred wa serving with the royal garrison artillery and stole josephs best clothes,boots and discharge papers and a sum of money from his friends and believed to have re-joined as private william jones
