How do I find if lLfred Gest 42240 would have been in this photo please, he did enlist maybe after the first photos in 1915, but I have discovered he was with 7th Platoon B Company, I cannot find him listed on any photos....

i'm afraid these Pln photos will not include Alfred Gest.  The images cover the original City Battalion recruits, taken in Lancashire @ April 1915. At this stage Alfred was in Kent and hadn't yet enlisted in the ASC.
