Replacements for injured or killed

Could anyone please advice me where the Manchester Regular Battalions got replacements for men injured or killed in 1914 or early 1915. Thank you.

hiya rendle
the replacements for the 2nd battalion in august 1914 after the heavy fighting would have come from the small reserve that would have already been at the base in france and the rest would have already been on their way over from the barracks at ashton,the 1st battalion was in india and plans were already in place for them to sail for france,their replacements would have been just enough to bring them up to full strenghth and would have been sent to france ready to meet them when they landed,most of the men in these replacements would have been reservists
