Ladysmith graves
« on: November 12, 2020, 04:07:16 PM »
Below are images of two Manchester Regiment graves at Caesar's Camp, Ladysmith (at 11 o'clock on the map) sent by a colleague in South Africa.
The graves are those of:
5212  L.Cpl S.F. Whitehead who was killed at Caesars Camp on 9 November 1899 and buried there, and
1975  Pvt. W. Frampton who was killed at the Battle of Platrand on 6 January 1900 and who is buried alongside Whitehead.
