Pte 2019 Edward Bostock

Pte 2019 Edward Bostock was a Pre-War Territorial, enlisting in 7th Bttn on 19/01/1914 at the age of 17. He was a Tramcar Conductor in civilian life. Edward Embodied for overseas service on 05/08/1914, but he was under 19 and not illegible to leave for Egypt with 7th Bttn in September 1914.  He served at Home with 2/7th Bttn.   Edward joined the BEF in France on 27/07/1916, as 1/7th and he was probably posted to an IBD.  Private Bostock was transferred to 19th KLR on 14/09/1916. He returned home with sickness on 17/11/1916 and posted to the KLR Depot, later 3rd Bttn on 16/01/1917.  He was then transferred to the 3rd S Wales Borderers on 31/03/1917 and 1st Bttn Labour Corps (218686) 30/05/1917, with which he served at Home with 539 Emp Coy & WCLC.
Edward was discharged sick at Nottingham, with SWB & Pension on 21/01/1918.  The Pension Award was for VDH aggravated by service.  The condition originated in France on 13/10/1916.
Edward Bostock died from disease n/k, on 08/07/1918, aged 21. Chorlton Q3/1918  8c/910. Burial n/k. His mother Emma received a Pension at 92 Bedford St, Hulme.
Having died 6 months after discharge, Edward has a v strong case, but not certain.
PS  I can't be sure he's missed from CWGC records, as I don't get the new search function.  Pl can someone check.

He is not commemorated, there are only 2 E or Edward Bostocks in the database. Both are commemorated in France or Belgium.

Edward Bostock died at his mother's home from influenza, pleuro pneumonia and cardiac disease.
We need to find his burial.

Apparently "heart disease" isn't close enough to VDH to justify commemoration,
