Pte 499 George Edsforth & 28086 RDC
Pte Edsforth was a member of the National Reserve when enlisted & embodied in 6th Bttn   2 December 1914.  He had previously served with LNL.  George was posted to a Supernumerary Coy and transferred to RDC on 29/04/1916, later posted to Knockaloe POW Camp.  He was disembodied in March 1919.
George Edsforth died from Aortic Aneurism on 9 March 1921. His widow Mary Elizabeth received a pension at 56 Eearl St, Blackburn. No record of Att Agg or Comm
