I wonder if anyone can identify these three men?  I'm advised the middle chap has DSO, MC and Bar.

Thanks

The only Regular officer I can find that has a DSO & MC* is William Kay who also got a second bar to his MC (not shown on the ribbon bar).
2nd Lt (Act/Capt) William Kay (3rd Battn attached to 2nd Battn).

But I have my doubts that it's Kay as he appears to have a 7th Battalion cap badge (as does the man on his right) and I think he looks more senior than an acting captain?

I cannot see anyone of the 7th Battalion with a DSO and MC* but both Lt Col Fawcus and Lt Col Hodge have a DSO and an MC.

I think the photo is of 10th Bn Officers, probably early post war - 1919-23 or maybe a bit later. Note the 10th Bn patch and the War and Victory Medal ribbons.

He is John Alexander Chisolm Taylor DSO MC . He won his three decorations as a Captain with the 10th Bn.

Great group of medals and yes, he was more senior than an acting captain!
