age 49 (45 on DC & Burial)
buried Philips park cemetery.A.C.971 with his wife. Pension Award for Widow & 4 children.
Previous service with KORL from 1889 incl Boer War. Discharged 1900 due to GSW Knwee near Ladysmith.

this man wasn't transferred to the 14th training reserve,the 14thTR was formerly the 14th manchesters,there were no transfers involved

We need to see if there is a headstone on Cornelius Lilley's grave in Phillips Park.  As he is buried with his wife, their probably is. Then review the condition of any inscription.
