Pte 262 George Andrews
Pte Andrews was a long serving member of 6th Bttn.  He was discharged on 13/4/1915. There is no record to show aggravation or attributable.
George died from TB of Lungs & Cardiac Failure contracted on active service, on 18/5/1915, aged 47.  He was buried at Southern Cemetery on 22/5/1915, Consecrated Plot S.614.
Widow Emily and 2 of 3 children received a Pension at 7 Plymouth Ave, Longsight.

George died from TB contracted in Service but we need to prove it was mobilised service.   Chorlton Q2 1915 8c/1096

George Evans died from TB that he had for 1 month 21 days - commencing in service - and cardiac failure at 98 Cramwoth Street, South Manchester, aged 47. A flagger in civilian life. His sister in law, W Worthington, of 47 Addison St, Ardwick, was present.
