Enlisted 4th manchesters 31/08/1914.  Previous service with 1st & 2nd Bttns
39 salmon lane,stepney
wife mary
carman
discharged 30-1-15 with TB
died in poplar+stepney sick asylum 27-2-15 from TB of long contracted on active service.
age 46
buried tower hamlets cemetery
No evidence that the TB was attrib or agg by service.  Contracted on, is not adequate for commemoration. The Medical notes for later discharges were more extensive.

The Pension Card clearly states TB was contracted on Active Service. The service & pension records provide no verification and TB may have pre-dated embodied service
Following one Platoon and everything around them....
