L/Cpl Royle joined the BEF with 1st Bttn as Pte on 27/8/1914. His discharge date is unknown. No evidence of BWM/VM award, suggesting Harry returned to the UK after landing in France - maybe due to sickness. He received a disability pension.
Harry died from disease on 2/7/1920, aged 33. Buried greenacres cemetery.E11.121, with his parents henry+alice
Parents address, 177 Abbey Hills Rd, Oldham. Pension refused.
