Pte 2529 Thomas Feeley

Tim Bell

Pte Feeley (B 1886 RC) had been a Labourer when he enlisted in 4th Bttn on 17/8/1914.  He had previously served 11 years in the Royal Irish Fusils. Thomas joined the BEF with 2nd Bttn (1st Bttn Star Roll?) on 5/12/1914.  He was posted missing at Givenchy on 21/12/1914 (rejoined Wife advised) and posted to 1st GB in India on 25/2/1916.  Thomas was posted to Singapore on 23/7/1918.
Thomas returned home unposted to Depot on 6/4/1919.
Thomas was transferred to Reserve with a Pension on 3/5/1919. He had Malaria attributed to service.
Thomas died from Bronchitis on 9/3/1921, aged 39. Buried greenacres cemetery.E7.10.
Widow Mary Ann (M 25/3/1913). Pension Awarded.
