Tim Bell

Sgt Payton has previously served in 2nd Borders when he enlisted on 22/6/1915 and served overseas with 1/8th Bttn. He joined the MEF in Egypt on 3/5/1916 and returned Home on 21/12/1916.
George was discharged from 3/8th Bttn sick with SWB and Pension on 10/8/1917. He had Bronchial Asthma attributable to service.
George died from disease n/k on 13/11/1918.
