Pte 995 George Marsden

Pte Marsden (B 1888)  served overseas with 1st Bttn from 25/1/1915.
George was discharged unfit from 3rd Bttn on 26/10/1915.  He died at home, from Bronchitis & Broncho Pneumonia aggravated by active service on 9/3/1916, aged 29. Reg Chorlton Q1 1916 8c/1078. Buried Southern Cem Conc 829.1 16/3/1916.
Widow Hannah (M 13/8/1910) and son John Thomas (B 13/3/1914), 21 Bedford St, C on M.. Pension Aw. Wm had been a bricklayer.
DC to be ordered.

We need to see if there is a headstone on George Marsden's grave in Southern Cem and review the condition of any inscription.
