Pte 2182 / 300321 Edward Dyson

Tim Bell

Pte Dyson (B 1896) enlisted in 8th Bttn and served overseas from 25/9/1914.  He was discharged wounded with SWB and Pension on 12/7/1917. He also had Phithisis Att to service and 50% incapacity.
Edward died at home from broncho pneumonia on 30/1/1921, aged 25.  Reg Prestwich Q1 1921 8d/453
Widow Mrs Ada dyson. 16 Harold St, Oldham Rd. No Pension as they were married after discharge. Mother Lilly received pension Cross Ln, Salford. 99 Duncan Terr, Salford. Another son George had been KIA with LF 2028, on 10/6/1915.
