Pte 17425 Thomas McBride

Tim Bell

Pte McBride (Born 1893) had been a labourer when he enlisted in 20th Bttn on 16/11/1914. Resident 20 Oldham Hill, Northwich.
Thomas joined the BEF with 20th Bttn and served overseas until 5/3/1919.  He was transferred to reserve with a pension on 2/4/1919. 100% incapacity due to Hemiplegia att to service.
Thomas died from Bacterial Endocarditis in Ulster Volunteer Hosp on 7/4/1921. (DC confirms no confimed attrib)
Mother Margaret received Pension, Shamtallow, Londonderry, NI.
