Pte Grainger (born 1879) had been a Master Tailor prior to service.  He was discharged from 3rd Bttn with a Pension n/k  cause on 2/3/1920. 
James died from disease on 15 or 19/7/1921, aged 43. Reg Birkenhead Q3 1921 8a/538.
Sister Annie received Pension, 173 Brighton St, Egremont, Ches.
Following one Platoon and everything around them....
