Pte 47621 George Patterson

Tim Bell

Pte Paterson had been a Cartman enlisted on 14/4/1915 in the Remount Coy of the ASC and served overseas with RASC 66989 from 25/10/1915.  He was posted to 27th TRB on 16/9/1917 and transferred to17th Bttn on 6/1/1917 and 22nd Manchesters on 8/1/1917. George returned Home on 28/1/1919 and he was transferred to Reserve on 20/2/1919, with TB & Meningitis – noted as Non Att.
George died on 2/5/1921. Cause n/k.  Widow Mary Eliz, 8 Clayton St, Bishop Auckland. No Pension, as she married after discharge. She remarried a Mr Parker, 12 George St, BA. Daughter Isabella
