Pte Gordon enlisted in 21st Bttn and served with the BEF from 10/11/1915.  Admitted 34 CC with wound to anus on 03/07/1916. He later served in 26th 3rd 21st 4th & 11th Bttns.
Charles was transferred to reserve on 19/7/1919.  No disability pension has been found.
Charles died on 12/7/1921. Widow Sarah Matilda received a Pension. Cause Chronic VDH Aortic Mitral.  42 Emmiitt? St,Miles Platting.
