Pte 25609 Frederick Graham aka Dawson

Pte Graham enlisted in on 14/8/1915 and was posted to 27th Bttn.  He was transferred to 22nd Bttn on 21/10/1915 and joined the BEF on 11/11/1915. Frederick had GSW to his arm on 1/7/1916 and he was posted Home on 5/7/1916.  Posted to Depot on 23/8/1916, Frederick deserted on 10/1/1917 and rejoined on 18/2/1918.
Fredk was discharged sick with Pulmonary TB on 12/6/1918. He received a Pension for disability from TB.  The Pension Record doesn’t specify if this was attrib or agg by service, but see below.
Fredk died from Pulmonary TB on 8/3/1919.   Reg Salford Q1 1919. 8d/85. The Disab. Pension Card states Att 100%. The widows card state cont (contracted) or commencing on active service.
Widow Ethel (married 21/9/1915).   104 Princes Rd, Liverpool. Later 26 Upper Hope Place, L/pool, the 104 Princes Rd, L/Pool.

Thanks Mack,
Frederick died from Pulmonary TB in Salford Union Infirmary. DC attached.
He had been a Plumber prior to service.

Frederick was buried in the common CofE plot at Weaste Cemetery on 17/3/1919.

As Frederick Dawson is buried in a common grave at Weaste, we need to confirm there is no headstone and then seek family members for consent for CWGC to erect one.  I have a contact.
