We need to see if there is a headstone on Thomas McIlroy's grave in St Joseph's and review the condition of any inscription.

Update 25/10/2020

No headstone evident. Need family consent for CWGC memorial.

Thomas Mcilroy's commemoration was approved by CWGC today. He now has an entry in UKBOR, pending acceptance of his burial at St Joseph's R C Cemetery, where a new headstone should be erected.

Thomas McIlroy's burial at St Joseph's was accepted as a War Grave today.
I don't know if he will have a new headstone (not mentioned by CWGC) or an inscription on the Soldier's Plot screen wall.
