Tim Bell

Pte Buzza (Born 1885) enlisted under the Derby Scheme on 6/12/1915. He was mobilised on 4/9/1916 and trained with 2/6th Bttn.  John joined the BEF from 6/3/1917-1/3/1918  and returned on 31/10/1918. He was transferred to 1/6th Bttn on 9/12/1918. John had burns top the mouth and was admitted to East Lancs FA on 25/132/1918 and returned Home on 2/1/1919.

John was treated for Trench Fever in 1st Gen Hosp Aberdeenin March / April 1918.. He was then admitted to the Renal Dept of 1st Birmingham War Hosp on 2/1/1919 for 173 days.  He was treated for Burns to Mouth fro accidentally ingesting concentrated lotion. He had ulcers.
John was discharged from 17 Depot, with SWB and Pension 15/9/19.  The Disability was Stricture Oesophagus.
John died on 11/11/1919, aged 34, from Caridiac Failure due to indecipherable Asthaline??  Asthelkine is a Asthma medicine and it appears John may have digested a concentrated form of the medicine. Thanks Paul,
Asthenia seems to be a broad term for fatigue and weakness, so I doubt the DC would corroborate any link to ulcers and we don't have link to a consequence of service.
