Col Sgt Hall(Born 1871) had served in 1st & 3rd Bttns having enlisted 13/8/1888. Incl Boer War 1899-1900.
He served in 5th Bttn as Col Sgt instructor on Perm Staff, Barrington Hall from 1907. Discharged in 1909.
Col Sgt WO Thomas Hall Barrington of Manchesters died on 16/9/1919. Widow Ellen . 100 Medlock St, Hulme. Reg Ashton Q3 1919 8d/407. 
No evidence of service in Great War.
