wounded fricourt 1st july 1916,GSWs left thigh[fractured femur]skull and right forearm,lay in no mans land for two days before he was picked up by the stretcher bearers
taken to hospital at bolougne,then 3rd London gen hospital and finally to 2nd western gen hospital Leicester rd,broughton,discharged as a out patient to Langley house red cross hospital Prestwich 24-1-18
discharged physically unfit 14-2-18
died 31-10-1919
