Pte 13758 Charles Littlewood
Pte Littlewood (Born Q4 1891) was a L/Cpl in 14th Bttn when he married Winifred Ellen Davis in Stretford Parish Church on 5/8/1916. He had been an iron founder in 1911. Charles served at Home. In 1917 he was a Munitions Worker, when his daughter Joan was christened on 5th August.
Charles died from Influenza and Pneumonia “contracted or commencing on active service.” 30/11/1918. Reg Barton upon Irwell Q4 1918 8c/1093.
