Tim Bell

Cpl Eaton enlisted in 8th Reserve Bttn on 5/9/1914.  He was posted to 8th KLR  27/7/1915 and returned to 2/8th on 20/9/1915.  Posted to 18th Bttn, Samuel served in France from 27/7/1916 until 27/9/1917.  He was posted to 4th Bttn and discharged with Pension on 28/9/1918 with Renal Calculus? Res Warrington.  Mother Mary. Sister Emma.
Samuel died from Pulmonaria Pneumonia on 20/8/1920. Pension refused to widow Sarah A Eaton, Youlgrave, Nr Bakewell, Derbys.
Samuel has Pension Cards with 3 number variations.  Makes me wonder if other men's cards have been missed.
