Tim Bell

L/Cpl  Etherall enlisted in 3rd Bttn on 29/1/1913 and was mobilised on 8/8/1914.  He served with 2nd Bttn from 4/1/1915.  Captured on the Somme 11th Nov 1916, he was repatriated 29/11/1918.  He was transferred to Reserve on 16/3/1919 and discharged at termination of Engagement 28/10/1919.  No evidence of illness. David died on 21/1/1920.  His widow Ethel lived at 7 Evans St C on M, later 51 Wilmott St, C on M. They had married on 4/1/1919.  Son of Charles Henry and Mary Elizabeth Etherall, 24 Angle St, C on M.

although david was CofE,he married his wife at st.augustines RC church,he could be buried in moston cemetery
